Sales Support / Marketing Assistant. To £25,000

This leading consultants and business advisors are continuing to expand despite the current economic climate. As a result of this they are looking for a new member of staff for their business development team. Previous sales / business development support experience, preferably within a large corporate environment is essential for this varied and challenging opportunity.

The role will involve a number of responsibilities including :-

Sales management support
Support the Business Development Managers in creation and maintenance of sales pipelines within the operating unit with a particular focus on sales pipeline management or targeting meetings with partners and teams.
Ensure new prospects have a regular contact program in place and that records are updated using the firm's sales management and CRM system.
Draw together local market intelligence and liaise with the BDM regarding target information to support the sales process.
Work with partners and BDM to develop and manage local and national marketing campaigns to both key prospects, clients and market sector groups.

Pitch support
Organise the local pitch process in line with the firm's proposal methodology and be the point of contact to liaise with the firm's specialist National Pitch Team
Key account management and client care
Ensure publications are kept up-to-date and client facing..
Assist the BDM in ensuring client service standards are in place for all relevant clients.
Assist the Partners and BDM in the monitoring of client service reviews.


Marketing
Work with Partners, BDM and internal departments to deliver marketing and BD events for the operating unit.
Liaise with Strategic Markets, Brand & Client Care and Sales & BD teams as appropriate implementing and supporting national marketing campaigns as necessary.
Work and support other members of the BD team across other regions on national and regional business development and marketing initiatives
Support local implementation of advertising/sponsorship/PR opportunities as deemed appropriate by Line Manager s.
Ensure adherence to compliance and national marketing and sales protocols.
Provide support to the local administration teams in the delivery of local events
