Audit Senior - real involvement. To £38,000
The mid tier firm have an excellent market reputation and are continuing to expand and win new clients at an impressive rate. Due to this growth they are looking for an audit senior for their London office. This would ideally suit a recently qualified ACA or ACCA candidate looking to develop their career and secure a truly involved role with real opportunities for further career growth. Strong communication skills are essential as there will be significant amounts of client interaction. Main duties: Carrying out audits with turnover up to £30 million, including specialist audits e.g. pensions, solicitors, charities and schools. The jobs to be completed with minimal supervision, to deadlines and within budget. Supervision of staff Preparation of draft business tax computations Larger accounts preparation jobs Where applicable drafting recommendations to management post audit As well as being able to prepare completed audit files for a large variety of clients to a high standard, the applicant should be a good communicator and be able to deal confidently and effectively with both clients and staff alike. They should be able to cope with both pure audits and with jobs where the records are not straight forward, and should be able to work within deadlines and budgets.
